Ulices Nown Naranjo Injured in Fatal Crash Near Road 5
Quincy, WA (June 10, 2022) – On Thursday morning, 32-year-old Pedro Zavala of Quincy sustained fatal injuries in a vehicle crash on State Route 281.
The fatal crash happened at about 6:10 a.m. near Road 5.
According to the investigators, a 2001 Nissan Frontier driven by Zavala was southbound when it was struck by a northbound 2008 Chevy HHR driven by 43-year-old Elza Cisneros of Mattawa.
Cisneros Gonzalez went across the center line when she overcorrected after she drove off the roadway to the right. Then, the two vehicles rolled.
Immediately, the paramedics rushed Pedro Zavala to Central Washington Hospital in Wenatchee where he died.
Moreover, the rescuers also took Cisneros and her three-year-old passenger, Ulices Nown Naranjo, to a hospital with injuries.
Officers are investigating the collision, although they said that drugs or alcohol were not involved.
