Pedestrian Dies in Auto Crash in Espinosa Road Salinas
Salinas, CA (May 7, 2020)– On Wednesday morning, one unidentified pedestrian died in an auto crash near the corner of Espinosa and Christensen roads.
The CHP responded upon receiving crash reports at around 6:30 a.m. on May 6. Dispatched officers arrived and located a pickup truck and the pedestrian down on the scene.
Reportedly, the pickup truck was driving on a dirt road when the driver put the vehicle in reverse and hit the pedestrian. The severe injuries killed the victim on the spot.
Moreover, the driver and the pedestrian were both employees of the A. Oseguera Company Inc. Their identities remain undisclosed.
Furthermore, the California Highway Patrol and California’s Division of Occupational Safety and Health (Cal/OSHA) are investigating the incident.
