Pedestrian Killed after Struck by Car at Oakmont Road and El Dorado Drive [SEAL BEACH, CA]

Fatal Pedestrian Crash on Oakmont Road in Seal Beach

 
SEAL BEACH, CA (October 31, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car Thursday morning in Seal Beach.
 
The crash happened around 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Oakmont Road and El Dorado Drive.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, a male pedestrian was walking in the area when a pickup truck hit him. As a result, he suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital.
 
Despite life-saving efforts, the unidentified victim was declared dead.
 
The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
No arrests had been made in connection with the incident as of Friday evening, however it remained under investigation.
