Elderly Man Dead Following Spokane Pedestrian Accident on Wellesley Avenue
SPOKANE, WA (November 22, 2020) – On Thursday night, a pedestrian died in an accident on Wellesley Avenue and Belt Street.
At about 8:00 p.m., an officer received a report of a driver who had hit an elderly man on Wellesley Avenue and Belt Street.
Upon arrival, the officer and a passerby administered CPR until medical personnel came and took over.
Afterward, responders took the man who was struck to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the authorities haven’t filed any charges. Meanwhile, the involved driver remained at the scene and has cooperated with the investigation.
