SAN DIEGO, CA (June 12, 2022) – Saturday afternoon, a pedestrian suffered injuries in a scooter accident on La Jolla Boulevard.
 
The incident happened when a white Toyota struck a person riding a motorized scooter. Then, responders took the scooter rider to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries.
 
At this time, the victim’s condition remains unknown. Also, the crash briefly closed the portion of La Jolla Boulevard
 
“These closures are expected to last several hours,” the San Diego Police Department said.
