Man Struck, Injured by Hit-and-Run Driver in Ventura
VENTURA, CA (April 10, 2019) – A man suffered moderate injuries in Saturday’s hit-and-run pedestrian crash at East Santa Clara Street and Figueroa Street.
According to news reports, the 9:12 p.m. crash happened in the 200 block of East Santa Clara Street.
Officers arrived shortly after and found the 28-year-old man with moderate injuries. Subsequently, paramedics transported him to Ventura County Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators conducted an on-site investigation and learned that the man was crossing Figueroa Street when the eastbound vehicle struck him. However, the driver failed to stop and render aid.
According to police, the hit-and-run vehicle is believed to be a white Nissan Sentra. Yet, more on this crash is under investigation.
