Pedestrian Injured in 1st Street Hit-and-Run Crash [Cheney, WA]

Cheney, WA (October 8, 2024) – A pedestrian was injured in a 1st Street hit-and-run crash Saturday evening.

It was about 6:45 p.m. on October 5 when the traffic accident happened near the area of College Hill Street.

Investigators said the victim was walking in the crosswalk when a southbound car on 1st Street struck them.

Troopers said the suspect vehicle slowed down but did not stop after the impact. 

Immediately, the rescuers rushed the victim to the hospital with several injuries. They are now in stable condition.
