Pedestrian Hit, Killed by Car at Rosecrans and Denker Avenues [Gardena, CA]

Person Dies in Gardena Pedestrian Crash

 
GARDENA, CA (May 7, 2019) – A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Saturday night at Rosecrans and Denker avenues.
 
Authorities are investigating the deadly case further to determine the sequence of events that led to the crash.
 
The incident happened around 10 p.m. when, police say, a driver struck the man outside of a marked crosswalk. The pedestrian died shortly after. Yet, it is unclear whether he passed away at a hospital or at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle stayed on site and cooperated with police.
 
Reports did not have any information concerning the driver or the identity of the pedestrian.
