Woman Hospitalized in Pedestrian Accident in San Diego
SAN DIEGO, CA (March 18, 2019) – A 53-year-old woman suffered life-threatening injuries in a pedestrian accident Friday on Tenth Avenue near Park Boulevard.
According to reports, paramedics brought the 53-year-old woman to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
San Diego Police Department Officer S. Foster said around 11:00 a.m. an 85-year-old man driving a southbound pickup struck the woman as she walked in a crosswalk.
Officers found the driver two blocks from the incident. Shortly after, paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
An investigation of this crash is underway as officials piece together the exact cause and circumstances.
