Pedestrian Hit, Injured by DUI Vehicle on Olive Avenue at Blackstone Avenue [Fresno, CA]

Man Hospitalized in Fresno Pedestrian Accident

 
FRESNO, CA (March 19, 2019) – A pedestrian suffered serious injuries Sunday night when an alleged DUI driver struck him at East Olive at North Blackstone avenues.
 
The incident took place before 9 a.m. Fresno Police officers responded to reports of a pedestrian and vehicle accident and found a man in his 30s pinned between the truck and pole.
 
According to news reports, an alleged DUI driver headed eastbound on East Olive Avenue struck the man in the crosswalk, causing him injuries to the lower part of his body.
 
Once paramedics arrived, they transported the victim to Community Regional Medical Center.
 
As far as the driver, police arrested her on suspicion of DUI.
