Woman Injured in San Diego Pedestrian Accident
SAN DIEGO, CA (May 22, 2019) – A female pedestrian suffered serious injuries Tuesday following a crash at Highland and University avenues.
According to the San Diego Police, the pedestrian crash took place around 10 a.m. Medics quickly arrived and transported the woman in her 60s to Scripps Mercy Hospital for treatment of serious head trauma.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stayed at the scene and cooperated with traffic detectives.
It’s unclear at this point what caused the crash or where the fault lies but a follow-up investigation remains.
