Pedestrian Killed in Crash on 210 Freeway After Jumping in Freeway

 
San Bernardino, CA (December 11, 2020) – On Wednesday, a pedestrian was killed in a vehicle crash on 210 Freeway.
 
The fatal incident happened at about 4:02 p.m. when an unidentified male pedestrian was walking on the right shoulder of the freeway eastbound, east of Arden Avenue.
 
At the same time, a 54-year-old man from Florida was driving a 2021 International truck tractor semi-trailer.
 
As the semi-trailer continued eastbound, the front of the tractor crashed with the pedestrian.
 
The victim incurred fatal injuries. Emergency medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
Furthermore, CHP said it is unknown why the pedestrian jumped in front of the vehicle.
 
Meanwhile, the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Office withheld the deceased’s identity pending identification and notification of next of kin.
