1 Victim Killed in Pedestrian Collision near the Santa Fe Avenue exit in Los Angeles
LOS ANGELES, CA (May 15, 2020) – Tuesday evening, an unidentified pedestrian was fatally struck by two consecutive cars on 10 Freeway.
According to CHP reports, the crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. Dispatchers arrived on the highway near the Santa Fe Avenue exit, shortly after.
The California Highway Patrol revealed that a Nissan Rogue first hit the pedestrian. Shortly after, another vehicle ran over the victim.
When authorities arrived, they pronounced the pedestrian dead on scene.
Police also diverted the traffic off the freeway at Central Avenue. However, the roadway has since reopened.
Moreover, the authorities did not disclose the identity of the victim. Arrests were not made at this time.
