Pedestrian Killed, Samuel Nunez Arrested in Fatal DUI-Pedestrian Accident on Santa Monica (10) Freeway
Los Angeles, CA (March 14, 2021) – On Friday, 22-year-old Samuel Nunez from Los Angeles was arrested in a fatal DUI-pedestrian accident on Santa Monica Freeway.
The authorities received the crash report at about 10:45 p.m. Friday near the Los Angeles Street off-ramp.
Apparently, the pedestrian was struck by multiple vehicles.
Officers determined the victim was initially hit by a 2001 Ford Escort driven by Nunez
Unfortunately, the unidentified pedestrian died at the scene. Authorities said his name will not be disclosed until his family is notified.
Meanwhile, police arrested Nunez on suspicion of driving under the influence. He was held in lieu of $2 million bail.
