Pedestrian Dies in Accident on Kirker Pass Road [Contra Costa County, CA]

Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Multiple Vehicle on Kirker Pass North of Nortonville Road

 
Contra Costa County, CA (March 12, 2021) – On Thursday, a pedestrian died in a horrible accident on Kirker Pass Road.
 
Officers received a report at about 8:16 p.m. of a person who was struck by a car north of Nortonville Road, near the south edge of Pittsburg.
 
When they arrived, they determined that the pedestrian was struck by several vehicles, including a Lexus SUV, a pickup truck, and a BMW sedan.
 
Unfortunately, the unidentified victim died at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, officers said it is unknown at this time why the victim inside the roadway at the time of the accident.
 
Moreover, the occupants of the vehicles that struck the pedestrian were not injured in the crash. They remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
 
Alcohol or drugs are were not considered as factors in this crash.
