CHP Investigates Fatal Auto-Pedestrian Crash on Santa Ana Freeway in Anaheim

Anaheim, CA (July 14, 2023) – A pedestrian died in a crash on Santa Ana Freeway early Friday morning.

The fatal crash happened at around 1:50 a.m. on July 14.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at 1:50 a.m. to the intersection of the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) and the westbound Artesia Freeway (91) where they found the pedestrian on the freeway.

The pedestrian, whose name, age, and gender were not immediately known, was pronounced dead at the scene.
