San Diego, CA (October 15, 2023) – Early Sunday morning, a male pedestrian died in a crash on 405 Freeway.
Police said the fatal crash happened about 1:45 a.m. on the southbound freeway at the Wilmington Avenue off-ramp.
According to witnesses, a man wearing a gray shirt and blue jeans was spotted walking westbound over traffic on the freeway’s right shoulder. They then reported spotting the man lying on the southbound freeway’s slow lane.
