Pedestrian Accident on 4th Plain Boulevard Under Investigation [Vancouver, WA]

Vancouver, WA (October 9, 2024) On Saturday evening, a man walking was fatally struck by a vehicle in a tragic pedestrian accident on 4th Plain Boulevard.

According to the Vancouver Police Department, officers responded to the scene near Northeast 54th Street around 9 p.m. after receiving reports of the collision.

Authorities say that the westbound driver saw the pedestrian in the lane but was unable to stop in time.

Officials say that the pedestrian, who had been walking eastbound in the westbound lanes, succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
