Jeb Stewart Brandy of San Jose Dies in Volta Road Collision [Merced County, CA]

Merced County, CA (November 28, 2024) – Jeb Stewart Brandy, 52, of San Jose, was killed in a Volta Road collision Sunday night.

The authorities responded past 7 p.m. to a deadly crash between a pickup truck and a motorcycle north of Highway 152

CHP said a 1999 Chevrolet pickup truck driven by a 32-year-old Los Banos man was traveling south on Volta Road when it crossed the broken yellow line and made a left turn into a driveway.

At the same time, Jeb Stewart Brandy was riding a 2020 Suzuki motorcycle in the opposite direction of the same road. 

The front of the motorcycle was hit by the front of the truck. Sadly, Brandy was killed at the scene. 

Officers said neither drugs nor alcohol were a factor in the collision.
