Injuries Reported in Santa Maria Auto Accident on Highway 135 near Broadway
SANTA MARIA, CA (May 9, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, passengers suffered injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 135 near Broadway.
The single-vehicle rollover crash happened at about 1:22 a.m. on Highway 135 near Broadway and Miller Street.
Upon the officers’ arrival, they located a single vehicle on its roof in the drainage ditch and vegetation area off the road. They found it just south of Miller Street and Highway 135.
Officers found a male and female passenger who were both ejected and down in the vegetation.
Both of them sustained major injuries and were taken to Marian Medical Center by ambulance. Meanwhile, responders airlifted the female to a hospital in Santa Barbara.
According to police, the vehicle headed north on Highway 135, north of Waller Lane. Then, the driver lost control and left the roadway for an unknown reason.
