Police Investigate a Fatal Crash on Fir Street in Hesperia

 
Hesperia, CA (January 6, 2021) – Friday afternoon, a passenger died while the driver sustained critical injuries in an off-highway vehicle crash on Fir Street and Opal Avenue.
 
The Hesperia fatal crash happened at around 4:38 p.m. on January 1.
 
According to reports, the off-highway vehicle was driving northbound on Opal Avenue. However, he left the roadway and collided with a dirt berm causing the off-road vehicle to overturn multiple times.
 
The impact resulted in the immediate death of the 20-year-old passenger. Moreover, the 23-year-old male driver sustained critical injuries.
 
Police further investigate the cause of this fatal Fir Street crash. Any witnesses are asked to contact Deputy E. Perez from the Hesperia Station.
