Passenger Injured in Solo-Vehicle Crash on Clark Boulevard [Laredo, TX]

Laredo, TX (January 8, 2024) – Two people were injured following a solo-vehicle crash on Clark Boulevard early Sunday morning.

It was about 3 a.m. the vehicle crash happened at the intersection with Canada Avenue.

Officers said the maroon Chevy Tahoe driven by a 41-year-old Laredo man was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the center median. The driver then lost control of the vehicle.

Laredo Police officers said the driver was ejected from the car and landed on the street. The driver was airlifted to a San Antonio hospital in critical injuries.

A passenger in the SUV was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.  

The Laredo Police Department is investigating the traffic crash on Clark Boulevard.
