Female Driver Killed in Car-Semi-Truck Collision on Eden Road
San Leandro, CA (June 1, 2022) On Tuesday, a female driver died and her passenger was hurt in a big rig crash on Eden Road.
Authorities say that the fatal collision was reported at around 4:10 p.m. near Doolittle Drive
The San Leandro Police Department (SLPD) says that a car collided with a tractor-trailer near the Oakland International Airport.
Police arrived at the scene and found the driver of the car died at the scene, while rescuers took the passenger to a hospital.
Moreover, the truck driver did not suffer injuries and stayed at the scene.
Officials say that the initial investigation shows that speed is a factor in the crash.
