Passenger Dies in Two-Truck Crash on 176th Street [Spanaway, WA]

Fatal Vehicle Crash in Spanaway

Spanaway, WA (June 14, 2022) – On Tuesday, at about 9:03 a.m., a truck passenger sustained fatal injuries in a crash on 176th Street.

The fatal incident took place in the 500 Block area.

According to the authorities, a green truck traveling at a high rate of speed rear-ended a white truck.

Then, the white truck struck a utility pole and a fence.

The green truck drifted off the south side of the road and stopped against a Bethel School District building.  Luckily, no one inside the building sustained injuries.

Immediately, the paramedics took the green truck driver to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. However, its passenger died at the scene.

Moreover, two people in the white truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The authorities are investigating the cause of the vehicle crash in Spanaway.
