Rider Dies in Paso Robles Motorcycle Collision

 
PASO ROBLES, CA (February 11, 2019) – A motorcyclist perished Friday afternoon in a collision with an SUV along Highway 46 near Mill Road.
 
The incident happened in front of Hunter Ranch Golf Course, according to Paso Robles Police Department. The 68-year-old Atascadero man operating a Kawasaki motorcycle was reportedly heading westbound on the highway when a Toyota SUV pulled out of the golf course and crossed Highway 46 into the westbound lanes.
 
The motorcyclist was unable to avoid the crash and struck the rear of the SUV. He was ejected from his motorcycle onto the highway and died shortly after.
 
The Toyota driver was unharmed. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
