1 Hurt Following Multi-Car Crash in Riverside
RIVERSIDE, CA (March 8, 2019) – A paramedic suffered minor injuries Wednesday when a big rig struck a fire engine and an ambulance on the 91 Freeway near Adams Street.
According to officials, a Riverside fire engine and an ambulance pulled over to tend to a car that had driven off the side of the 91 Freeway. Meanwhile, a tractor-trailer struck the two vehicles before veering off the side of the freeway, as well.
The 10 p.m. crash left a paramedic with minor injuries and the fire engine and ambulance with major damage.
At this time, officials are investigating the ultimate cause of this incident.
