SUV and Pickup Truck Collide on Highway 101 in Oxnard, Injuries Reported
OXNARD, CA (December 12, 2018) – A woman was injured following a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening in Oxnard, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The crash happened around 9:35 p.m. on Highway 101 at Del Norte Boulevard.
According to the CHP, a white Toyota SUV and a Dodge Ram pickup truck collided for unknown reasons. The Toyota then spun out and struck a center divider, sending debris into lanes.
A female occupant in the Toyota suffered a possible head injury and was taken by ambulance to a hospital. The identity and condition of the patient were not immediately known.
The SUV sustained major rear-end damage and was towed away from the crash site along with the pickup truck.
An investigation is still ongoing to determine who was at fault and to gather all the factors involved in the accident.
