2 Hospitalized in Napa County Traffic Accident on Highway 12 near Haire Lane

 
NAPA COUNTY, CA (September 1, 2021) – Monday, Osvaldo Herrera Castillo and Allan Douglas Thomas sustained injuries in a crash on Highway 12.
 
According to CHP’s Napa bureau spokesperson Jaret Paulson, the head-on crash happened at around 5:18 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on Highway 12 near the intersection with Haire Lane.
 
Reports revealed that a westbound Honda Civic lost control. Then, it struck a guardrail before colliding with an eastbound Dodge Challenger.
 
Honda driver, 18-year-old Osvaldo Herrera Castillo, sustained major injuries. Thus, responders took him to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center via helicopter.
 
Meanwhile, the Dodge driver, 57-year-old Allan Douglas Thomas of Fairfield sustained major injuries. Then, they transported Thomas to Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center.
 
Moreover, the incident closed west of the Domaine Carneros winery for two hours.
