One Seriously Injured in Two-Car Crash on 580 Freeway at Isabel Avenue [LIVERMORE, CA]

Early Morning 2-Car Crash on 580 Freeway in Livermore, Major Injuries Sustained

 
LIVERMORE, CA (June 23, 2019) – At least one person was seriously injured following a two-car crash early Sunday morning in Livermore.
 
The crash happened around 4:22 a.m., on the eastbound lanes of 580 Freeway. Dispatchers arrived just west of Isabel Avenue shortly after.
 
CHP officials located a white Mercedes-Benz sedan and a red Honda Civic in the center divider. The Honda reportedly landed on its side as a result of the impact.
 
At least one of the occupants suffered major injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics took the patient to a hospital in an unknown condition.
 
Both cars were towed away from the crash site due to the extent of damage.
 
The incident is still on active investigation while the authorities are putting the pieces together.
