One Injured in Three-Car Crash on 51 Freeway at Marconi Avenue [SACRAMENTO, CA]

Morning 3-Car Crash on 51 Freeway in Sacramento Hurts One

 
SACRAMENTO, CA (June 6, 2019) – One person was injured following a three-car crash Thursday morning on 51 Freeway.
 
The crash happened around 8:30 a.m. along the southbound lanes of the freeway at Marconi Avenue.
 
CHP officials responded to the scene and located a Honda Pilot, a black Nissan Altima and a gold Chevrolet in the center divider.
 
One occupant suffered a back injury and complained of pain. Paramedics took the patient to a hospital for proper treatment.
 
Towing services remove the vehicles from the crash site.
 
An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and to identify possible contributing factors.
