2 Cars Involved in Accident near Highway 299

 
MONTGOMERY CREEK, CA (March 20, 2019) – One person was injured in a head-on crash on Windy Point Road, Wednesday morning.
 
According to highway patrol, the collision took place at approximately 1:15 AM, just north of Highway 299. First responders arrived shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls about the accident.
 
Furthermore, reports indicate that two cars were involved in the collision. The vehicles were identified as a red Nissan and a Chevrolet pickup truck.
 
Paramedics were quickly called on scene due to the extent of the victim’s injuries. One occupant suffered a broken knee as a result of the impact. However, there has been no update on the other driver’s condition.
 
Crews worked to clean and finalize preliminary duties for a brief time following the crash. The surrounding area was blocked off and under investigation to determine liability, but has since reopened. Additional details will be released once available.
