Two-Vehicle Crash on East Sunset Drive Injures People
Bellingham, WA (April 14, 2021) – On Sunday, people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on East Sunset Drive.
When officers arrived, they assisted three patients in the crash. Officers released two of them at the scene.
Rescuers took one of them to PeaceHealth St Joseph Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries under basic life support (BLS) protocol.
Also, officers used a ladder truck to secure the pickup so that occupants of the vehicle could exit their vehicle.
Due to the high chance of injury or death in an accident, extreme caution should be taken whenever you drive. Also, drive cautiously and always expect the unexpected.
What’s Next after a Crash
When driving, scan the road 1/2 mile to a full mile ahead to check whether there’s a possible hazard. Our bodies weren’t designed to travel at 50mph. Also, we were designed for speeds of less than 10mph. Thus, you need to learn to consciously break that instinct and focus farther ahead
