Pedestrian Accident on Akers Street Killed One Person and Injured Another
Visalia, CA (October 30, 2020) – On Tuesday, one person died while another was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident on Akers Street and Maple Avenue.
The incident took place when a man driving a white sedan driven at a high speed lost control of his vehicle.
Apparently, the man was searching for a parking spot on the Kaweah Delta’s Rehabilitation Hospital. He accidentally struck a man and a woman heading to the facility for therapy.
The rescuers rushed both of the victims to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, where the male victim died. The woman sustained major injuries.
