One Injured in Fatal Vehicle Crash on US 395
Deer Park, WA (November 21, 2020) – On Wednesday, a person died and another was injured in a head-on crash on US 395.
As a result of the crash, the authorities completely closed the US 395 as they investigated.
Further, WSDOT set up a detour for drivers via State Route 292 and Bulldog Road.
However, the detour added more travel time, so crews asked drivers to expect long delays.
Sweet Lawyers would like to express our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
What Follows a Fatal Crash
It is clear now more than ever that one person’s negligence can have devastating effects on other individuals. This is quite common in accidents that result in death. Therefore, the family of the victim must become aware that they have the authority to file a wrongful death suit.
Indeed, a wrongful death suit forces liable parties to become accountable for their actions.
“The last thing most families want to deal with is piles of paperwork. Even questions from insurance companies and obtaining police reports can be stressful,” says Mark Sweet, an attorney at Sweet Lawyers.
