Motorcyclist Omar Enriquez Killed on Fair Avenue Crash in Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz, CA (February 21, 2021) – On Thursday, 29-year-old Omar Enriquez of Capitola lost his life in a motorcycle crash on Fair Avenue.
The authorities received the accident report at about 4:43 p.m., at the intersection with Mission Street.
Apparently, Enriquez was traveling northbound on Mission Street when his motorcycle crashed into the side of a passenger vehicle,.
As a result, he lost control and fell from his motorcycle.
Rescuers rushed him to Dominican Hospital, where he later died.
Furthermore, traffic on Mission between Swift Street and Younglove Avenue was diverted around the scene for multiple hours.
