FRESNO, CA (July 10, 2020) – Wednesday afternoon, an elderly couple were hospitalized after a vehicle crash on Cedar Avenue.
 
According to authorities, a couple in their 70s traveled in a tan Prius on Cedar Avenue and Nees Avenue. Some witnesses revealed that a speeding vehicle then traveled north on Cedar Avenue.
 
The said vehicle also made an illegal lane change. Shortly after, the driver of the car crashed into the couple’s Prius.
 
Responders transported the couple to Community Regional Medical Center. The husband suffered a broken hip and some internal injuries. Fortunately, he is in stable condition. Meanwhile, the wife underwent an Xray. However, her condition wasn’t disclosed.
 
Meanwhile, the teen driver involved didn’t suffer any injuries. Also, the authorities do not believe that alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
