Officer Nathan Martin Dies in Collision with Semi-Truck at 3rd Street and Campton Drive
OXNARD, CA (January 31, 2020)—An off-duty officer died in Wednesday’s motorcycle crash at 3rd Street and Campton Drive.
According to Oxnard Police Chief Scott Whitney, the 45-year-old off-duty officer collided with a tractor-trailer that reportedly turned in front of his personal motorcycle. The motorcycle and the tractor-trailer collided around 4:00 p.m., causing him fatal injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the details of this crash and encourage witnesses to come forward.
