Kyle Lovelady Injured in Crash on California Street
Redding, CA (December 25, 2020) – On Tuesday, officer Kyle Lovelady was injured in a vehicle crash on California Street and South Street.
The Redding accident happened at about 11:05 P.M.
A 21-year-old woman driving through the intersection broadsided Lovelady’s patrol vehicle after running a red light.
The involved woman did not get injured from the crash, but Lovelady received minor injuries. Similarly, his patrol car sustained major damage.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the incident.
Drivers should keep in mind that distracted driving, speeding, and failing to yield can lead to dangerous road accidents.
How To Proceed From Crash
While driving is essential for many to move about in their lives, it is one of the most dangerous daily maneuvers. Thus, it is therefore important to know how to proceed in case you find yourself involved in a traffic collision.
On the AAA Foundation Web site, chief executive officer Peter Kissinger repeatedly labeled the epidemic of motor vehicle-related accidents a “public health crisis.”
Mark Sweet, a personal injury attorney at Sweet Lawyers, says that serious car accident cases may call for a separate investigation spearheaded by an experienced lawyer. A lawyer will make sure victims are not cheated of the proper compensation they are owed.
