SR 9 DUI Collision Injures Driver and Officer
Sumas, WA (March 01, 2022) – On Sunday night, two people sustained injuries in a State Route 9 rear-end collision.
The incident took place at the 9300 block area.
The Sumas Police Department officer pulled a commercial vehicle when an SUV rear-ended the patrol unit.
Immediately, the emergency responders took the officer and SUV driver to a Bellingham hospital with minor injuries.
Later on, the authorities arrested the SUV driver for DUI.
