Rialto Officer Hospitalized Peter Cedillo-Moredia Arrested in Rialto DUI Crash
Rialto, CA ( 2021) On September 23, Thursday, a police officer suffered injuries and the authorities arrested 18-year-old Peter Cedillo-Moredia of Fontana in a multi-car crash on West Foothill Boulevard.
Authorities say at around 10 p.m. that they pursued a suspected DUI driver in the 900 block of West Foothill Boulevard.
Moreover, the pursuit ended in a crash with several parked vehicles including a Rialto P.D. patrol unit.
Police say the collision injured a police officer who was immediately sent to the hospital.
Authorities say they have taken the suspect without further incidents.
Cedillo-Moredia is booked into West Valley Detention Center on charges of DUI (drugs and alcohol), felony evading, being an unlicensed driver, possession of methamphetamine, and six counts of hit-and-run.
Additionally, his bail was set to $100,000.
