Officer Chase McCance Seriously Hurt in Wrong-Way Crash Near 26th Street
Phoenix, AZ (January 11, 2021) – On New Year’s Day, Phoenix police Officer Chase McCance was injured while police arrested 22-year-old Dylan Johnson in a wrong-way crash near 26th Street.
Apparently, a witness saw a wrong-way driver, Johnson, at around 6 a.m. on Cactus Road.
The witness then followed the wrong-way vehicle, which eventually crashed into the police SUV driven by Officer McCance.
Immediately, responders took the officer to the hospital. He sustained serious but non-fatal injuries.
