Obed Heredia Dies From La Quinta Hit and Run Accident
LA QUINTA, CA (June 9, 2021) – On Monday morning, Obed Heredia, 30, sustained fatal injuries after a hit-and-run crash on Avenida Mendoza and Calle Sinaloa.
Sgt. Deonna Pecoraro said that the incident happened at around 5:22 a.m.
Pecoraro is the Public information officer for the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. Moreover, she added that the crash happened in the area of Avenida Mendoza and Calle Sinaloa.
Also, the authorities confirmed that the vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene without stopping.
Moreover, paramedics transported the male victim to a hospital with major injuries. The La Quinta man, Obed Heredia, was later taken off life support. He died in the hospital on June 12.

Furthermore, the fatal accident is under active investigation.
