Fatal Single-Vehicle Accident on 39th Avenue
OAKLAND, CA (February 25, 2019) – Friday afternoon, a driver was killed in a car crash on Aliso Avenue. Their identity has not been released.
Authorities received dispatch calls about the deadly incident on Aliso Avenue around 2:33 p.m. Soon after first responders arrived to the scene near Redwoods Heights Elementary School. State officials then found a car that had driven off the road and slammed into a wall.
Due to the impact of the collision, the driver was pronounced dead by medics on scene.
It is currently unknown whether or not drugs and alcohol were factors in the accident.
No further details regarding the circumstances leading up to the collision have been disclosed to the public at this time. As a result, an investigation of the fatal auto collision on Aliso Avenue is underway.
