66-Year-Old Norman Figueroa Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Hunt Road
Gustine, CA (February 09, 2021) – On Sunday, 66-year-old Norman Figueroa and 7-year-old Kaylee Figueroa, both from Gustine, died in a motorcycle crash on Hunt Road.
Authorities responded to the crash scene at about 1:35 p.m. at the intersection with Gun Club Road.
Apparently, motorcyclist Figueroa and his granddaughter Kaylee were traveling northbound on Hunt Road. Just then, the motorcyclist attempted to make a U-turn at Gun Club Road and failed to yield the right of way to a 2007 Acura TL driven by 39-year-old Yolanda Vasquez.
As a result, the motorcycle crashed with the Acura’s front left corner. Both motorcycle riders were ejected from it.
Moreover, officers said Figueroa and his granddaughter were both wearing helmets at the time of the crash, but Kaylee’s helmet came off as she was ejected.
