Nina Fournier Dead in Pierce County Accident on Canyon Road and 128th Street
PIERCE COUNTRY, WA (March 8, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, Nina Fournier, 31, died in a car crash on Canyon Road and 128th Street in Pierce County.
According to reports, the incident occurred at about 11:00 a.m. Moreover, it happened in the 12800 block of Canyon Road and 128th Street E.
The officials revealed that a 32-year-old man drove a white sedan west on 128th Street E. Meanwhile, a 31-year-old woman driving a black SUV traveled south on Canyon Road.
Afterward, the woman veered west onto 128th Street E just a short while before the man entered the intersection.
Thus, the sedan crashed into the SUV from behind. Then, it went up and over it before it landed upside down.
As a result, the male driver suffered non-life-threatening injuries. On the other hand, the female driver succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
According to some witnesses, the suspect drove recklessly at a speed of over 100 mph. The authorities are still trying to determine whether drugs or alcohol played a role.
