Nicole Haggerty Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Rainier Place [Union Gap, WA]

Union Gap, WA (May 17, 2022) – On Monday, 39-year-old Nicole Haggerty lost her life in a hit-and-run crash on Rainier Place.

The authorities received the crash report minutes before 4 p.m. at the 1800 block area near the 76 gas station.

When they arrived, the officers located Haggerty who was thrown from the vehicle during the collision.

The paramedics rushed the victim to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.

Officers say the driver did not stop and left the scene. They described him as an adult man. He drove westbound of Rainier Place near South 18th Street in an early model white Chrysler Sebring

Moreover, a witness reported that there has been a physical fight between Haggerty and the man driving the vehicle that resulted in the crash.
