Natalia Wood Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision Near East 18th Street and G Street
MERCED, CA (January 4, 2019) – A 50-year-old woman was struck and killed by a hit-and-run vehicle Friday evening near East 18th Street and G Street.
According to police, Natalia Wood was hit by a small sedan that was either tan or gold-colored. A surveillance video footage showed a description of the vehicle, yet the license plate was not available.
When officers arrived, they found Wood, of Merced, lying in the roadway with major injuries. She was brought to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
