Nancy Gonzalez Dead in Rollover Collision on Interstate 15 near Rainbow Valley Boulevard
Temecula, CA – On Friday, 28-year-old Nancy Gonzalez died and two others sustained injuries in a solo rollover collision on Interstate 15.
California Highway Patrol Officer Jim Bettencourt said the incident was reported at around 7:15 a.m.
Moreover, it occurred north of Rainbow Valley Boulevard, and south of the Riverside County line.
Additionally, North County Fire Capt. John Choi also stated that the car was traveling northbound.
It then drifted from the left lane into a construction site.
Then, the vehicle overturned several times and struck a concrete barrier.
Further, the authorities pronounced one of the car’s occupants, Ms. Gonzalez of Pomona, dead at the scene.
Afterward, rescuers rushed two other people to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment of serious injuries.
Meanwhile, authorities initially blocked off the left two lanes, but all lanes have since been reopened.
