Up To 6 Vehicles Collide on Richmond-San Rafael Bridge in Marin County
MARIN COUNTY, CA (July 11, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge blocked the eastbound traffic for two hours Tuesday afternoon.
The collision, which reportedly could involve as many as six vehicles, was first reported at about 4:40 p.m. It initially blocked all eastbound lanes of the bridge as per the California Highway Patrol. However, all except the left lane were unblocked at around 5:15 p.m. The blocked lane remained for over an hour.
Authorities advised motorists to use eastbound CA-37 as an alternate route during the lane closure but told drivers to expect some residual delays.
There were no details regarding any injuries in the crash.
