Driver Arrested Following Crash on Interstate 5 That Injures Passenger
Tacoma, WA (September 19, 2020) – A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 5 left a driver and a passenger injured on Thursday.
The crash took place on September 17 on Interstate 5 near Tacoma.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the causing vehicle was speeding before the crash happened.
Witnesses reported that the speeding vehicle was driving 100 mph as a result, the female passenger sustained injuries.
The woman was in critical condition due to the extent of the incident. Meanwhile, authorities arrested the driver for Vehicular Assault and DUI.
The driver also sustained injuries but was in a conscious state.
Furthermore, the crash involved at least three vehicles. There were no other reports of injured from the crash aside from the driver and the passenger.
